Meet the Hosts

Ellen

 

Ellen is a Gryffindor. Her wand is 11 3/4 beechwood, with a dragon heartstring core. Her Patronus used to be a weasel, just like Mr. Weasley, but after the death of her beloved cat, Jack Nicholson, she decided that he was her Patronus. She once again is cat mom to 4 other cats, Stella (who is a spitting image of book Mrs. Norris, being skinny, grey, and yellow-eyed, with some classic RBF), Vinnie (an orange tabby), Black Betty Bam-ba-lam (you can guess what color she is), and the newest addition: Professor Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore, Order of Merlin First Class, Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Supreme Mugwump of the International Confederation of Wizards, and Chief Warlock of the Wizengamot (but his is mostly called Al). She is happily married to her very clever husband, who not only came up with the original name of the podcast, but also helped design the logo and comes up with some good one liners here and there! Ellen's under-cover muggle job is Elementary and Middle School Art Teacher and in her free time (when she isn't podcasting) she enjoys a plethora of art related activities and of course, anything Harry Potter related!

 

Karlee

 

Karlee is a Hufflepuff and our Support Badger. She has an ashwood, with a dragon heartstring core, 11 and 3/4 inches. Her Patronus is very specifically a ragdoll cat, because she does not want anyone to think she has the same Patronus as Umbridge. She is a mom to her own little baby Weasley, plus two adorable pups that have nerdy, non-Harry Potter names, Link and Rey. She is also happily married to her own very clever Ravenclaw husband who is supportive of all her endeavors, podcast or otherwise. Karlee's under-cover muggle job is also being a Teacher, though at the moment, she's being the best Mama Weasley she can be! In addition to loving Harry Potter, she is also a huge Disney fan!

 

Keighty

Keighty is a Slytherin. She and Ellen like to say they are proof that Gryffindors and Slytherins can get along! Her wand is 10 3/4 inches ebony, with a unicorn hair core. Her Patronus is a manx cat, which is kind of weird, because she is allergic to cats. She has a daughter she named Juniper, which is the berry used to produce gin, and she named her such so she could low-key name her after her favorite Harry Potter character, Ginny (book Ginny, to be specific). She is happily married to her extremely supportive husband, who has very patiently been an extra amazing dad whenever Keighty is working on podcast stuff. Her undercover muggle job is currently Stay-at-home Mom, but she is also a freelance baker! Being mom to a toddler doesn't leave her a lot of free time, but when she has it, she enjoys baking, cooking, being sarcastic (not that she needs free time for that, it just comes naturally), and of course, anything Harry Potter related!
